Better late then never, I guess

I had said this on deviantart and I forgot to mention it here. I'm going to try (keyword: TRY) to post a page every day for the month of March. It's a personal goal more than anything and I hope to meet it. Therefore, I apologize beforehand for any mistakes/omissions/ugliness that I'm bound to make in my rush to post every day.

This does have it's benefits. Now you'll all be getting the pages faster. :)

Happy reading!

Great comic! Hello,

Apologies for the blog post, but I can't find your email.

My name is Mike Miller, I'm a representative for, the internet's largest and fastest growing e-book 'store'.

What makes Wowio unique, and thus successful where so many others have tried and failed (even Google couldn't make their e-book store a success!), is that our product is 100% FREE to our readers, while still compensating the downloads to our publishers at a rate of no less than 25 cents per download. This is done through a new method of advertising, the e-book sponsorship. One of our sponsors, be it Verizon, Ernst and Young, or others, pays Wowio a premium sponsorship rate to 'gift' each e-book to it's end-user. Those sponsor dollars are then divided between Wowio and the publisher. There are no distributors or retailers taking slices of your profits along the way, and no crossing your fingers hoping to make back the cost of printing. Wowio is a free service to it's users, and it's absolutely free for publishers to join as well!

Before I go on with more facts and figures, here are some testimonials from some of our publishers:

"Day by Day is a leader in the blogosphere, the internet 'point of the spear' for politics. Starting back in 2002,
DBD quickly became a touchstone for those who wanted same day topics covered in a political cartoon.

The financial model of the internet, where readers demand free content and easy access, is a difficult one
at best. Wowio is the first business model of the internet that works both for DBD and its readers. Readers get free,
easy to load content, and DBD receives income.

What's not to like?" -Chris Muir,

"Through the third and fourth quarters of 2007, Wowio has been providing us with a significant and reliable source of revenue that far exceeds our initial expectations. Indeed, the income is so significant that it has in six months already outstripped our net revenues from actual physical comic book publication during the calendar years from 2005 through 2007. This surprising new source of income has had the effect of causing us to completely rethink our business model for 2008 and beyond." -Dennis Mallonee, President Heroic Publishing Inc.

"Short and facty:

Wowio's income permitted my artist Gisele to become a full-time cartoonist." -T Campbell,

"Wowio is the greatest thing to ever happen to me. I've only got one book up there now, but what Wowio's doing for me, from an unknown-creator standpoint is amazing." -Jeremiah Allen, Dead: With Dick & Jane

"Our company, Blatant Comics, has had over 150,000 downloads of our books on WOWIO since early August... We're looking forward to launching a bunch of new titles on WOWIO within the next few months, some of them possibly WOWIO-exclusive premieres." -Chris Crosby, Blatant Comics

As you can see, Wowio is doing great things for lots of comic creators and publishers just like you. Last quarter alone Wowio paid out over half a million dollars in royalty payments to our various publishers, has over 100,000 registered users, and as I said, we're growing every day, so who knows how much will be paid out THIS quarter?

I'm emailing you because I've seen your works, and I'd love to get you in on the Wowio action. Please let me know if you have any interest in joining the list of publishers who are finding a fantastic new revenue stream with e-books and Wowio!
